On Sunday 15th September after the Sunday service, corks popped in the church gardens and there was much clapping as we celebrated Jean-Marie Foucard's thirtieth anniversary as official organist for Holy Trinity Nice and St Hugh's Vence.
Jean-Marie was delighted to share the huge chocolate cake Ella had baked for him and there were other chocolate goodies to eat too; Jean-Marie loves playing the organ and eating chocolate!
Although the congregation was marking Jean-Marie's three decades as our two churches' official organist, he started playing in both churches back in 1987, so we look forward to celebrating another anniversary in 2027!
