Sunday 7th July was a joyous and busy day at Holy Trinity enriched by Annika’s beautiful christening service and the birthdays of two of our parishioners Moses and Pamela, followed by our first Franco - American picnic.
Early that morning in the church hall kitchen, Eric was putting the last touches to his coleslaw, potato salad and boston baked beans whilst cauldrons of water bubbled in readiness to receive frankfurter sausages for the hot dogs. Beside him Michael was lining up an army of his home-made apple pies ready for the oven. Our Holy Trinity Church team had set up tables in the church grounds the previous day, when it immediately rained! However, on the day itself our seventy plus guests were able to enjoy the shade of the trees as the sun shone overhead.
